About
I’m a 51-year old fat woman.
Not cuddly. Not chubby. Not generously proportioned. Not rubenesque. Fat.
O.K., a little bit cuddly.
I have lots of experience at being fat. I can give lessons on being fat.
But, I won’t.
This blog is how I’m losing weight, and how I’m going to do everything I can to keep it off, once and for all.
I’m doing it with weight loss surgery and a lapband, so I’ll be talking a lot about that process. In the big picture, though, weight loss is weight loss whether you do with it with surgical intervention, a commercial plan with celebrity endorsements, or following the advice of a nutrionist or dietician. And it can be horribly, depressingly, tediously boring.
I’m not writing about that. I’m writing about the good stuff. And, if I do write about the boring stuff, it’s only because the good stuff is in the next paragraph.
